Life?

Have you ever wonder what is the meaning of life? Everyone always said that every life has its own meaning, its own purpose. Sometimes I wonder if that's true...

I don't have a purpose in life. I have nothing precious for me. I have no one to cared about, nobody ever cared about me. Nothing I'm good at, nothing I can do best.

With all of those thought, I always have one question : What is life? What's the purpose of my existence? Does my life have any meaning at all? No matter how much I ask this, how many times I think about it, nothing comes up.

After all those thoughts, another question pops up. Why do I keep living? If my life has no meaning, no purpose of my existence, nothing I'm good at, so why do I keep living? One of my fears is that I will never find answers to those questions. I'm not afraid of death, I'm scared of knowing nothing.

Everytime I have principles, every things that I thought was true, it turns out to be the biggest mistake I've ever done.

To anyone who read this, if you have people that care for you, and you care for them, if you have something that you proud of, something meaningful for you, just hold onto it. Let it be your anchor that holds you down so you won't be drift into nothingness.

Dreams?

So, I haven't post anything in a long time. Last month only one post. It's just there's not much to tell. Of course I do have a problem in life and everything, but I made this blog not for any drama. Yes, you can share anything, but talking about my problem gonna make my blog looks like a beach. But now, I want to talk about dreams.

When I said dreams, I didn't mean dreams  that you get every night when you sleep. I meant something that you want, but it's kinda impossible. That's a dream, right? Or maybe a wish? Well, as long as your dreams is still normal (Want to become a doctor, want to travel), let me tell you one thing, it could happen! (Not if your dreams is ride an unicorn or have a flying pony) You could always get your dreams, if you take the first step. Opportunity is always around the corner, so don't pretend like you don't see it or even worse, throw it away. I said this because I've got a lot of opportunities to make my dreams come true, but instead I throw it away, every single one of them. Just grab it, take a leap of faith, do it! Ask yourself this, which will you regret more? Regret of the results, or regret of never try it? I'm one of the guy who regret it because I'm not trying, not knowing what would happen if I took the opportunity. Believe me, it's painful.

Don't forget, there always opportunity to make you dreams come true. You just need to grab it fast, have a faith in yourself. Okay, Maybe I wrote this just because I want my blog to have a post (and also oping anyone would read it. Assuming my layout and the content of the blog, maybe no one will read it), but I just want to remind you guys to not let go of your opportunity. I already waste mine, you guys should not.

Religion : Bringing Peace or War?

Just got finished reading some news of my country. Apparently, religion is a big issue here even though people say my country is tolerant and not racist. Wow, that's a big load of crap.

Ask yourself, what is religion? Yes, you could say I'm not religious person because I write this and I admit that. But I rather be like this than become fanatic who thought their religion is the best, the one that everyone should follow, or said that other religion is a sin. Damn, there's still lot of caveman like that.

People, we are human. No matter what religion we have, even the atheist, what matters is what we do. Some people don't want their city ruled by someone that don't have the same religion? He's not God, he just working to make the city better! Or you prefer ruled by someone who have the same religion but their work suck? Congrats, your city will be forever like shit. In my opinion, religion is just a tool to pray for our God, to learn about Him and His message. Every religion teach love, so people who use force in the name of their religion, do you caveman still have brain in that little head of yours?

They said this country based on a religion, so it should be ruled by someone who have the same religion. So, let me ask you skmething. Lot of other country that doesn't use religion as a foundation for their government, and yet why those country is more advanced? Why my country, based on a religion and democracy, still like a shit? I bet fanatic person will say that I said bad things about their religion. Well, let me be clear. I never said that the religion that based they country government is bad, all I'm saying is lose a screw in your head so the fanatic behaviour could be gone. Become a fanatic of your religion will not make you go to heaven, it could be the opposite.

Just want to remind you people, don't be stupid. What use of the religion if you use violence, if you do something that morally wrong? Don't think your religion is the best and the most rightful one, coz when you become fanatic you will become racist (true story), and does racist is in any religion teaching? Think before you act, or speak, or anything.

Zombie Guide : Supplies

Forgot to update my guide. Alright, the next guide will be supplies. I will divide it into three parts : Food, First Aid, and Other Needs. Like I said in the previous post, there might be something I forget in the list or wrong about it, so remind me or tell me what's wrong with it. Alright, first problem, food supplies.

Food Supplies : For food supplies, since we're thinking zombie outbreak will not be taken care of in 1 or 2 days, you might need a lot of food and water. For food, take a lot of canned food that don't need to be cooked, if you could. Canned food have the longest expired date and easy to carry. Meat and vegetables? Do not take those, except if you have a fort or safe place. And if the meat and vegetables haven't expired already anyway. Snacks like potato chip, snicker, or chocolate bar could also help you, but if you have a big appetite it won't do much. But it's zombie apocalypse, who are you to complain. Water. Get a stock of a lot mineral water. You could use reusable bottle of course, but if the water is clean and not infected by the virus or anything.

Second is first aid. Of course, take a lot of medicine and first aid kit you could get! That will help you a lot. But if you have too much supplies to take, just bring the essential then, painkiller, antibiotic, some common fever or flu medicine, bandage, and i don't know the term in english, but its some kind of medicine to help you stop the bleeding or something. I think that's all the list for first aid, it could help your injury. Except if you're get bitten of course.

The third and last one is, other needs. First, clothes of course. I know this is zombie apocalypse, you don't have the luxury to have a bath. But changing your clothes once in a while is preferable. You don't want to get infected by other virus because of a dirty clothes, right? Oh, a few towels too. Not for taking a bath, but it could be use for a lot of thing. Substitute for bandage, to cover your body when its cold, or to dry your body if you fell into a fish pond. Pair of shoes, in case your current one is broken or you throw it at zombies. Flashlight and the batteries, matchstick, rope, hunting knife (work as a weapon too), hammer, walkie-talkie, and some fireworks if you want. I might forgot a lot of things and will remember it when I actually need it (This is really annoying), but I guess that's the common things you need in an outbreak.

Well, I think that's enough supplies to help you survive the zombie apocalypse. Next time, weapon and vehicle, but mostly weapon. I don't know much about vehicle. Okay, see ya!

Zombie Guide : Attire

Hey people! Since I'm a big fan of zombies genre, I want to write something about it here. I will post a zombie story that I made here, but not now. For now, I'm just gonna write a guide for zombie apocalypse. Of course it's not a perfect guide, but it just a guide that I thought will help me to survive. And if there's a better thing to do than what I list here, please let me know. And for you people who gonna say "zombie's not real you idiot" or "zombie is stupid" or something like that, stop reading it and go kill yourself. I'm only gonna tell you once, this is just for fun, FOR FUN! I like to let my imagination go wild, and writing this just a way to expressed my imagination. If you don't have it, or just a big jerk, get out from here!

Let me be clear one more time. This post is just for fun. So, I'm going to let you know my version of zombie apocalypse guide. Lot of things that need to be talk about, so I'm gonna write it as different post. The first and most simple thing that you need to prepare, your attire. Why is it important? Imagine you're being chased by zombies and you wore flip-flop. When you're running, your flip-flop get slippery, or loose and make you fall. Say hello to zombie life! See, it's simple but deadly right? So I'm gonna talk about the attire that I think people need.

First, your top. Wear something casual, like shirt, so it will not be too heavy. Since it's zombie apocalypse, lets say you need to sleep outside, or some place without sheet to cover you or something. It could get really cold at night and we don't want to freeze till death, right? So I suggest you use a casual shirt, but also another layer of clothes to prevent cold at night, such as light jacket, or sweater. This kind of attire could be used by men or women. Please, don't think about style at a time like this.

Second is the bottom. This also work well with men and women. Long pants. Jeans, or any other kind of long pants. Short is okay too i think, no problem with it. But for me, long pants is better. Like I've said, it could get really cold at night if you don't have something to cover your body. Long pants works better at times like that. And if you fell down or running through a bush or something, long pants give more protection than short. For the girls, skirt is okay, but you could think about what I've said about long pants.

And the last part, is shoes. SHOES! Try to wear flip-flop and get chased by zombie, you'll regret it wearing flip-flop. Shoes, sneakers if you can! Wear running shoes or casual sneaker, something that's not heavy and comfortable to wear.

R.I.P Tolerance

Hey people, it's been a while. On this post I wanna talk about tolerance. You know what? It's dead. Well, not really, but most people doesn't know what the meaning of tolerance anymore. Especially when religion, nationality, races, and other thing is included. You know what I'm talking about? No? Okay, this is just something that happened in my country.

I'm from Indonesia, the country that once people said a country where any kind of people could live together, no matter what religion or races they are. Well, after 25 years living in it, I think it's bullshit. Almost bullshit maybe. For example, there's a group of stupid people who won't accept the city governor because he's religion and races is not the same with them. If they don't like the governor because of his mouth (For your information, sometimes the governor can't control what he said), that's alright. But rejecting him because he's not the religion and races that they want, that just stupid. And of course, there's people outside that group that also supporting that group. And I think they want to make this country to become a specific religion country. I hope I could get out from this country before that happen. When that happened, believe me, this country will crumble and destroyed.

I can't say I love my country. I mean, it's beautiful of course, but too much stupid people who can't accept people just because they're different. For example, if I said I like western culture because I'm more comfortable with it, they will said that I'm being poisoned by the western, I want to be free like them (what they mean is free sex, alcohol, and drugs). No matter what I said, they just gonna think it that way. Oh well, like I'm gonna give a *bleeep*. Let me tell you something. Doesn't matter what religion or race you are, good people is determined by what they do. For example, western people who do sex before marriage but nice to each other and do charity work, and people who are not westerner, hail his or her religion, but doing violence and spread lie for their benefit or for something they want. From that example, you could tell which one is the nice one right? Think again people. Religion is one of the way to learn about God or anything that you believe in, and race is just something that people born with. What determined you as a good person is what you do. And what if there are people that have different opinion? You're not always right, and not 100% right, don't push what you believe to other people just because you think it's bad but actually it's not.

Love?

What I want to ask is, what is love? I mean, of course I had crush on someone, but I've never thinking about marriage or something like that.

The funny thing is, even though I'm saying I'm never thinking about that, but lately I've been thinking about that, with a celebrity that doesn't even know me. I'm imagining what our wedding would be like, our life together after wedding. I've never think about that with anyone else. So, is this a crush, stupid crush, or love? I don't have the answer, but still, if it's going to be real, I would be so happy.

The New President

Finally! The election is over and Indonesia have a new president! Congratulations! Hope Indonesia could be better from now on. The title says the new president, but actually what I want to write is some people who are really really amazing. Don't get me wrong, not amazing great, but amazing stupid. Some people post in their facebook "If number 2 candidate become president, I'm gonna hang myself". What do you know, actually the candidate number 2 won and become the president. So, when is the day you gonna hang yourself? Seriously, why does stupid people like this still exist? And there's one Indonesia celebrity, quite popular back then. He supporter of candidate number one and he said on his twitter if number two become president, he will cut of his "man thing". So, when is the cutting ceremony? I know celebrities only human, but at least be a decent human, not like this one.

And of course, since candidate number one is a little bit childish, most of the people afraid that he and his supporter gonna do something stupid, like war (Yeah, it could happen). Even though it's quiet for a few days after the election, it's better if we pray for the best.

Another singing group from the UK, Collabro

Like I said, I'm gonna write about Collabro. They're called Collabro, boyband from UK. But unlike other boyband, they song genre is really different. The song they brought is called opera-cinematic-something. You should check it yourself. They are the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2014! For the audition, they sang Stars from movie Les Miserables. For the semi, the song called Bring Him Home also from the same movie. On the final they brought Stars again with a different arrangement from the audition.

What so great about them? Well, you could say their talent, but also hard work. Before the audition, they've been only together for a month! Even though one of them said that natural chemistry that makes them could win BGT, for me it was their hard work. No matter how good their natural chemistry is, their talent, without hard work it's almost impossible they could brought a really great audition in just one month! Even Simon and Amanda rolled their eyes when the boys said they've only been together for a month. But after they finish their song, I guess Simon and Amanda should be ashamed for judging them before they even start.

Collabro consisted of Richard, Matt, Thomas, Michael, and Jamie (If I'm not mistaken). Like Jack Pack, they have a day job. But after winning BGT, they signed a deal with Syco Music (Own by Simon Cowell) and will release their album later. And they also gonna perform in front of the queen on Royal Variety Show! That's awesome guys! I know from the moment I saw them at the audition that they gonna win, even though I prefer Jack Pack's music (Sorry!). But anyway, you should see their performance on BGT, maybe you'll interested to buy their album. Cheers!

Where you want to go?

If you could travel, name one place that you want to visit! Surely you have place that you really want to visit, right? Maybe because your friends recommended it, or you saw it on tv. So, where you want to go?

For me, well... Too many places. Actually I want to travel around the world! There's a lot of place that really interesting for me and I want to see. Have you ever see Stonehenge? Or head statue on Easter Island? Taj Mahal? Eiffel Tower? Collosseum, Machu Pichu, or other place that you've never seen in your life? Okay, getting off track. If I could visit one place, I would really love to go to UK.

Don't you dare tell me "Why UK? It's boring! Here is better! That is better!". Hey, everybody have their own preferences! I have my own reason. Well, from what I saw (On tv, news), UK is beautiful country. I know of course it's filled with stupid people who couldn't think straight or can't keep their mouth shut. But hey, every country have them. And also there's a few people in UK that I want to meet. And the culture of UK is pretty interesting.

Of course, I want to see my heroes. Well, since they're celebrities, at least seeing them from afar is good enough. And then I want to see three singer groups, Jack Pack, Collabro, and Blue. Okay, I guess this is too much, the chance I would meet them is 1%, so scratch that. There are lot of place or tourist spots in London. There's Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Cathedral, the Museum, the theatre, Chiswick area, and a lot more.

Okay, I'm not really sure what's good in UK, their cultures, foods, or anything. But that's why I had to see them myself! And one day if I could, I'll post my adventures in London on this blog! Maybe even another country! Just wish me luck!

Who's your hero?

Well, just wanna talk about my heroes a little bit. What I meant by hero is not Superman or something like that. I'm talking about a person that really inspired you, saved you, or just someone that you really looked up to. Usually kids have a hero like this, such as their dad, mom, policeman, firefighter, or someone like that.

Only two people that I really look up to, they are Ant & Dec. Well, most of you don't know who they are. They are celebrities from United Kingdom, working as a tv presenter. I'm gonna tell a little bit about them.

They met each other when they are... 13, 14 I guess? Both of them are from Newcastle, UK. Dec work as an actor on one of the UK tv series, then a year later Ant joined. Then they quit that tv show because of their age (The show is for teenager). After that they become a singer using the character name on the tv show that they worked on before. When the era of their music finish, they step into tv presenter. They're hosting a lot of shows such as SMTV, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, BGT, and many more (For those who don't live in UK maybe you don't know any of it).

They're both 39 this year. Ant is married with Lisa, and Dec currently dating his manager Ali. They also published a book of their journey from when thy met each other. A really long but really interesting stories. They only have two major fight, over a board game and alcohol. They received a lot of awards. Not separately, but awards as one. They used to live together in a flat for some years, then Dec found someplace nice so he move. Ant also found someplace nice which is next door to Dec! Few years later Ant found another place and he move, so Dec think why don't he move too? And after Dec found the place, it's only three doors away from Ant's place!

Now they mostly worked as a tv presenter, hosting a various tv shows. The first time I saw them was on Britain's Got Talent. Then I watch their show, Saturday Night Takeaway. They are a funny double act because even though they're 39, they're still like a teenage boys. Really foolish too. But that's what makes them great.

There's still a lot of stories about them that I read from their book. They had a gig at my city when they're still sing. I guess when they're on the stage singing, I'm still riding my tricycle. How come anyone in my country knows about them anyway? Drunk and then fighting in the lift. Prank their bodyguard. What makes me really admire them is their friendship. They've been friends since 14 and still best friend now. Always working together, even rejecting a separate model shoot. Maybe deep down I envy them, they have a friend for life. I guess that's all I wanna tell about them. Btw, here's a picture of them.

Swing music group, Jack Pack

For those who doesn't watch Britain's Got Talent will ask, who are they? They are called Jack Pack!

The swing band are made up of Adam Chandler, Sean Ryder Wolf, Alfie Palmer, and Andrew Bourne. They're from United Kingdom (If I'm not mistaken) and each have day job.

Their first perfomance on the Britain's Got Talent (BGT) audition is really great. They sang Frank Sinatra's song That's Life. The crowd really loved it and so does the judges. They through to the semi-final where they sang another Sinatra's song My Way. Finally, they brought Feeling Good for the final, and it was really good.

They got fourth place on BGT. It's a shame because for me they are really great, although I know from the beginning that Collabro gonna win (I'll write about them later). I thought at least they're gonna be in top 3. But still, even though they only got fourth place, there's a news about Simon Cowell want them. I hope it's true because Jack Pack really brought kind of music that I really like. Hope Jack Pack release an album soon. For those of you who like swing music (Actually I don't know what is swing music, just because other people called it that) try to see Jack Pack performances, maybe you'll like it.

This video is made by some people for an experiment, as you can see from the title this video is about appearances. The first part of the video is about a guy wearing casual clothes, just a jeans, a cap, and jacket I guess. He is coughing and then fell. No one is trying to help him. Everybody just passed by and some people just look at him and then leave.

The second part is another guy, but this time he is wearing a suit. A nice suit with black tie. Same with the first guy, he is coughing and then fell. Less than a minute, a girl come and ask him if he is alright, and so does other people.

Between those part, there are short video (From a hospital security camera) showing a woman fell on the floor and nobody help her. Other patients and a security guard just look at her. 45 minutes later, finally, some of the nurse come to help but it's too late. Really? 45 minutes for medical help while you're in a hospital?

If you read this or watch the video, ask yourself, what if you're the one who suddenly passed out on the sidewalk and nobody come to help you? Would you want that? Is it too hard just to stop by and ask if that person okay? Or maybe just call an ambulance? And do that no matter who that person is! He is wearing a suit, so what? You helped him because he looks nice? You neglect the other one just because of his clothes?

If things like this keep happening, I believe that humanity will be no more. In a hundred years or more, there's only robot with human appearances that walk the earth.

Six days to judgment

I'm Indonesian and six day left into the day where every Indonesian waiting for. It's the day where the President of Indonesia will be elected. It's a huge and important day to Indonesia because the candidate for the president is only two people. Won't say the name and I won't say their background or who I choose because that is not important. The important thing is I hope with this post people that so stupid and so low could grow their brain a little bit.

Seriously, is humanity gone? Or people are becoming less human? And maybe I should not mention those people on facebook, they really makes me want to hit their face with a book. Why I said that? Okay, first of all, yes, the candidate for the president is only two. Both of them have pros and cons. And maybe there are lot of politic's techniques that I don't know of. But still, do we need to spread lies? Lies far enough that you need to photoshopped a picture so you could make a certain party look bad in public? Use religion as a weapon? Even I saw a post from people saying they gonna kill themselves if their candidate lose (Not that I mind, at least less stupid people from this world). And there's a rumour about commotion whoever the president is, like the one happen on May 1998 (Indonesian will know what I'm talking about). For the May 1998 incident, it's about commotion, or maybe slaughter of the chinese descendant people by the local.

I think peace will never happen. Why? Because stupid people like I mentioned still exist. Slaughtering chinese descendant without reason? Even if there is a reason, does slaughter an answer that human do? Even though I'm chinese descendant, I war born and raised in Indonesia. That doesn't make me an Indonesian?

Okay, I think I'm getting off the track. What I want to say is, come on people. We're human, but what you do is more like a wild animal than a human. I'm sure there are lot of people like this around the world. Why can't you behave like a decent human being? Yes, I have people that I hate. Yes, I don't like certain group. But I don't slaughter them. I don't spread lies about them. Ask yourself, DO YOU WANT TO BE KILLED? Or maybe your family, you want to see them get killed? Or maybe killing each other is the best answer? Yeah, why don't we just kill each other until human extinct?

Okay, I'm getting emotional again. Just please, if you read this, be a decent human being. War is not the answer. We are civilized human being, not a wild animal that attack each other.

Watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I know this is a really really old movie, but I watch it because the trailer of the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (Can't they make the title a little bit shorter???) is pretty good. Okay, just need to decide when I'm going to watch the Dawn (There, it's shorter.)

Rise of the Planet of the Apes... Hmmm... What can I say? It's a pretty good movie, the story is unexpected. But it's a little boring from the beginning until the middle. Well, as a guy I tend to watch action movie, but I like comedy and horror too. Action and the tension in this movie didn't happen until the middle of the movie. A lot of explaining at the beginning. A researcher found a cure to alzheimer by making the brain stronger. He tested it on an ape and eventually the ape become smarter. The ape getting smarter and because he got a terrible treatment from human, he grows to hate them (Except the one that raised him). Then the ape who named Caesar stole the medicine and use it on other apes, making all of the apes smarter and finally, they run from their place (It's like a holding cell I guess) and run to the forest.

Well, that's the ending. I really want to watch the Dawn because the synopsis is about Caesar and he wage a war on human to prove which race should dominate the earth. So, in my imagination this movie will be about a war between human and apes. Hey, that's pretty interesting right? But after I watch this movie, there's a question that pass through my mind. So, where's human coming from? Is God made us like the bible said (I'm a Catholic but I'm not that religious) or from evolution like Charles Darwin said (It's Charles Darwin, right?)? Well, nobody knows anyway, so just enjoy our life as human.

Introduction to this blog

Hi everyone! This is my first blog, my first post, and my first time doing something like this. I always like to write something, a story, review of game or movie, everyday events, or anything that happened to me. I want to make this blog open to public, not just to people in my country but worldwide. Who knows, maybe you'll find something interesting? Maybe I'll post some latest news, review of the latest game or movie, or my point of view on something.

But before I start working on this blog, I really hope you, who read or comment on this blog, will behave yourself. Of course you could say anything you want, but please mind what you said. Don't be a stupid people who can't control their language and always feels right. I don't want to see comments like 'you're stupid, it should be like this' or 'he/she is stupid, who would do that' or anything like that. Hey, people have their own preferences and I hope everyone could respect that. If you couldn't respect other people, no one's gonna respect you.

One more thing, since english is not my native language and I'm trying to make public post, I hope you could forgive me for wrong grammar or anything. I appreciate if you try to correct me, but I don't appreciate people who said something like 'Did you learn english?!' or anything that makes people want to hit you with a shovel. If you want something to be posted on this blog, such as the latest event in your country that I don't know of, you could ask me and I'll think about it.
